If the stomach is irritated and the cat has perhaps already vomited, it is a good idea to swap the normal food for a few days with a light diet. Cooked, lean chicken or poultry is a good option here. If the vomiting is related to hair ingested during grooming, there should be enough cat grass available so that the animal has the opportunity to excrete the hair. Small amounts of coconut oil can also be helpful here. If the cat vomits its normal food frequently, the cause could also be an intolerance or a gastrointestinal disease.
