If the cat allows it, a long bath with a suitable flea shampoo, regular combing with a flea comb, parasite sprays or spot-ons suitable for cats and, above all, a thorough cleaning of the apartment can help. Only a small part of the flea population lives on the animal itself – most fleas live in the environment, which is why the entire apartment and all animals living in the household must always be included in the flea control.
