A high-quality diet is particularly important during pregnancy. You should feed your dog a puppy food that has been specially designed for pregnant and lactating bitches. A balanced amount of exercise helps to strengthen the muscles and promote blood circulation. You should also prepare a quiet and safe area for your bitch to give birth to her puppies.
